Prayer: We had a wonderful time praying together at prayer meeting this past week. As we shared testimonies around the topic of wisdom we were especially blessed to realize just how much God is working in our midst. As Summer moves into Fall I encourage you to make room for the midweek call to prayer if by any chance you can. Join us for prayer meeting every Wednesday at 6pm. The church that prays together, stays together. This next week we will keep the same old format of food, fellowship, and prayer but we will start a new theme centered on the book of John. Look forward to seeing you there!

Also, please pray for Raceway Ministries as they do missionary work during the race in Bristol this weekend. We are especially grateful for Jerry Cohen being able to be there and we continue to pray for him as he recovers from surgery.

Things Happening: Men’s Prayer Breakfast was a special treat this week. A big thank you to Clarence Small and team for leading out. Afterward, several of us continued working on the new playground. Progress is most certainly being made!

Did you know that Dollie Montgomery has an amazing garden! Just look at some of the delicious produce that she sent home with Anna this week. Thank you Dollie!

Another big event of this week was the launch of our new MOPS program. A big thank you to the many volunteers that came out. We were well staffed and had a very good quality program. If you know a mother with young children please invite them to join us at the next MOPS meeting on September 6th from 10am-noon. Free Snacks and Childcare.

Here are some of the moms!

Personal: We are a little light on pictures this week because my phone malfunctioned and I had to get a new one! I’m thankful for these pictures sent to me by Jennifer Cushing as proof that at least one person is enjoying our new playground!
